WHO IS GOD THE FATHER?

IS HE INVOLVED WITH US ON EARTH?

WHO IS THE GOD OF THE OLD TESTAMENT?

IS GOD THE FATHER ETERNAL?

CAN GOD THE FATHER HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH SIN?

CAN WE SEE OR HEAR GOD THE FATHER?

HOW CAN WE KNOW IF THE SCRIPTURE IS REFERRING TO CHRIST OR THE FATHER IN THE OLD TESTAMENT?

This article contains new knowledge which has been lost since the first era of God’s Church the Ephesus Era.

Before we start our bible study on this all important subject I would like to point out some vital study helps for this paper.

Strong's concordance is used throughout this article to identify the Hebrew and Greek words used for the word God.

The Hebrew 3068 is the word for Lord, or God.  Strong’s concordance has the following explanation for this word:

Yehovah, self existent, or eternal Jehovah, and Jewish national name for God.  This 3068 can only be used when referring to God the Father only.

The following scriptures are proof:

Gen 17:1  When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, "I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.

Note that carefully I am Almighty God this is God the Father.

Exo 20:2  "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

Exo 20:3  "You shall have no other gods before Me.

In this above verse the Hebrew H430 is Elohiym and can be used for either God the Father or God the Word. Or in some cases can be referring to both the Word and the Father.

In this verse H430 is referring to the Father. This is easily proven because
1. You shall have no other God’s before me.
2. This article will prove that it was God the Father who brought the children out of Egypt.

WHO IS GOD THE FATHER

The following verses prove that there is one true God.

Joh 17:3  And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

1Co 8:4  Therefore concerning the eating of things offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one.

1Co 8:5  For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords),

1Co 8:6  yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.

1Co 8:7  However, there is not in everyone that knowledge; for some, with consciousness of the idol, until now eat it as a thing offered to an idol; and their conscience, being weak, is defiled.

1Ti 1:17  Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

Zec 14:9  And the LORD shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be "The LORD is one," And His name one.

Isa 57:15  For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Jas 2:19  You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe and tremble!

Even the devils believe that there is One God, how much more the children of enlightenment should know about their God the Father.

Psa 83:18  That they may know that You, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, Are the Most High over all the earth.

Did you notice this verse?   Whose name alone is JEHOVAH.

Jehovah is 3068 this is solid proof that 3068 is God the Father only. It says whose name alone is the Lord. There is no other Jehovah, there is only One God the Father 3068 is only used for God the Father.

How many times in scripture does God the Father have to say that He is the One True God before people will believe Him? There is One True God, He is God the Father and there is His born Son, Jesus Christ.

These amazing scriptures are solid hard evidence of truth which has been suppressed in God’s church since the disciples. This is amazing and yet totally backed up by scripture.

It is time for God the Father to be revealed. We have not known who He is. We have not known that there is ONLY ONE TRUE GOD this has not been revealed till now.

This is new knowledge for this era of the church.

Joh 16:25  "These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father.

Did you read that?  Read it again slowly let this fabulous knowledge sink into your mind and heart, Christ said He will show us plainly about the Father.  This is that time now, we are now being shown the Father plainly. Ask yourself honestly:

Do you know who the Father is?

Did you know He is the one true God?

Did you know that knowledge of Him has to be revealed?

Did you know that this is the time for Him to be revealed plainly by Christ?

Did you know that He was the Father of the Word, before creation began, and that the Word is the born Son of God the Father?  Note that I said The Word is the BORN Son of God, before creation.

If you did not know all of the above then this is new knowledge for you.

Now look at these amazing scriptures, the fact that the knowledge of God the Father has been suppressed since the time of the disciples is made plain in the Eras of the Church.

Notice these scriptures carefully.

Rev 2:4  Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.

This is Christ addressing the first Era of the Church, the Church at Ephesus.  What have they left?  Their first love.

What is the first love?

Luk 10:27  So he answered and said, "'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND,' and 'YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.'"

This is the first love, to love God with all your heart and mind. Now this love of the Father was forgotten, they did not continue to love God, in the first Era of God’s church, they left their first love.

God was left out of things since the first era of God’s church.

To lose the love of God means that knowledge of Him will soon be lost also. We know this is true because of our past friends in the church, when they lost the love of God.  It did not take long for most of the knowledge of Holy Days and knowledge of Him to be lost.

Let's look at some vital knowledge about God the Father and Jesus Christ which has been lost since the Ephesus Era of God’s church.

I will mention here the fact that Jesus Christ is the born Son of God. This birth occurred before creation began. Let's look at a few scriptures on this subject.

Joh 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Joh 1:2  He was in the beginning with God.

Joh 1:3  All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

In the beginning was the Word:
This means at some time, at a commencement, at a time called the beginning.
Please note eternity has no starting point.
This means at a point of time called the beginning, the Word [who we know is Christ] came into existence.

And the Word was with God:
Once the Word existed He was then with God, they were then together...before this God the Father was alone.

And the Word was God:
Once He was born He was God, He was the Son of God.
THE WORD AND JESUS CHRIST ARE ONE AND THE SAME.  THE WORD IS GOD.  JESUS CHRIST IS GOD.

He was in the beginning with God:
At His birth He was with God the Father, after this period of time called the beginning.

All things were made through Him:
God the Father made all things through Jesus Christ.

And without Him nothing was made that was made:
God the Father made all things through Jesus Christ.

Let's see if we understand and examine this a little closer.

In the beginning was the Word

We stated here that a particular point in time was called the beginning.  Eternity has no starting point but a time called the beginning has a starting point.

I will ask you a very interesting question.  Have the heavens and the earth always existed with no beginning?
Or were they at some point in time brought into being?

The answer is undoubtedly that there was a time when they never existed and that at some time they had a starting point. I am sure every reader would agree with this point, now that we have that firmly in our minds turn to Gen 1 v 1.

Gen 1:1  In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

This verse in the beginning is saying that the heavens and the earth at some point in time called the beginning came into being, before that point in time they never existed.  It is the same with John 1 v 1-3.
In the beginning was the Word at some point in time He came into existence by a Birth.
Before that time He did not exist.
He was born a Son of God, He had a starting point, He has not inhabited eternity the scripture tells us that there is ONE God who has inhabited eternity.  ONE TRUE GOD.

We see here plainly that the knowledge that the Father is in fact the Father of the Word before He was born of Mary has been suppressed.  The disciples knew it but since the first era of God’s Church the knowledge has been lost.

So we see that the knowledge of God the Father and Christ His Son, has been left by the 1st Era of the Church, but now see this amazing new knowledge.

The last era of God’s Church, the Laodicean Era, has the knowledge of Christ and God the Father restored, notice the following.

Rev 3:14  "And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, 'These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:

Notice that line, the beginning of the creation of God, this is referring to Christ and the fact that He was born in the beginning of Creation. How interesting.

This knowledge of the Father appears to have been suppressed notice these following scriptures on this very subject.

Luk 11:52  "Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in you hindered."

Notice that the key of knowledge was taken away.

Joh 16:31  Jesus answered them, "Do you now believe?

Joh 16:32  Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.

Mat 11:27  All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.

Did you notice that scripture?  Read it again the knowledge of the Son is revealed by the Father and the knowledge of the Father is revealed by the Son.

THIS IS REVEALED KNOWLEDGE

If we want to know about the Father we need to go on our knees and ask for this knowledge to be given to us.  There is no other way.

Now to answer our question at the start of this article: Who is the Father?

THE FATHER IS THE ONE TRUE GOD.

HE IS THE ONLY GOD WHO HAS EXISTED FOREVER.

HE IS SELF EXISTENT.

HE INHABITS ETERNITY.

HE IS THE HIGH AND LOFTY ONE.

HE IS THE FATHER OF THE WORD.

THE WORD IS THE BORN SON OF THE FATHER BEFORE CREATION.

Some people think that the Father is not directly involved in our lives, let's look at the following.

IS GOD THE FATHER INVOLVED?

We have had an idea that God the Father has handed everything over to Christ and that He is just up in heaven at the controls of the universe uninterested and unaware of what is going on down here on earth.  Nothing could be further from the truth. God the Father is totally interested in what is going on here on earth and is involved heavily with everything. He is not out of the picture. We have imagined that God and the Lord in the Old Testament were mainly referring to Christ.

Read on for the truth, for new knowledge for this era of the church.

I am not trying to take anything away from Jesus Christ, He is our High Priest, Our Saviour, Our Elder Brother, and the very Son of God, but He Himself is in subjection to the Father and always put the Father above Himself in keeping with the scriptures. We  are telling you the truth about the Father.  This truth is revealed by Christ. {Matt 11 v 27}

1Co 15:27  For "HE HAS PUT ALL THINGS UNDER HIS FEET." But when He says "all things are put under Him," it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted.

1Co 15:28  Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.

Joh 14:28  You have heard Me say to you, 'I am going away and coming back to you.' If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, 'I am going to the Father,' for My Father is greater than I.

The Father is working.

Joh 5:17  But Jesus answered them, "My Father has been working until now, and I have been working."

Our loving and great God the Father loves us so much and is so involved with us that He won't do anything until He reveals it to His prophets.

Amo 3:7  Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.

Let's have a look at the start of the human race and see how God the Father was involved.

Gen 3:8  And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden.

Gen 3:9  Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, "Where are you?"

This is speaking here of H3068 God the Father, right at the start of the human race we see God the Father with a hands on approach. It was Him who talked with Adam and Eve.

Astounding, but none the less true.

Gen 6:5  Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

God the Father is stating that the world was filled with wickedness and now He planned to do something about it.

Gen 7:1  Then the LORD said to Noah, "Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation.

Here we see God the Father, telling Noah to go into the Ark, he and his family.  God had a hands on approach to the saving of the human race through Noah, He knew that all of mankind was wickedness, He was involved, He was not far off somewhere.

Gen 17:1  When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, "I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.

Gen 17:2  And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly."

Gen 17:3  Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying:

Gen 17:4  "As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations.

Gen 17:5  No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations.

Here we see God the Father totally involved in making Abraham the Father of many nations. He knew all about Abraham, watched him daily, and took great interest in the father of the faithful.

Gen 22:16  and said: "By Myself I have sworn, says the LORD, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son

Gen 22:17  blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.

Gen 22:18  In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice."

Here again we see God the Father sending an angel down to speak to Abraham, now that Abraham was tested and proved faithful, God the Father bestowed upon him this most fabulous blessing of the Father of the nations.

God the Father is involved.

Exo 20:1  And God spoke all these words, saying:

Exo 20:2  "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

Again we see the amazing truth that God the Father brought the Israelites out of Egypt and gave the Ten Commandments.

Exo 13:3  And Moses said to the people: "Remember this day in which you went out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out of this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten.

Our article, Two Gods on the Mountain, gives the amazing truth in more detail regarding the new knowledge of how God the Father gave the Ten Commandments. However I will repeat a small section here.

Exo 24:9  Then Moses went up, also Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel,

Exo 24:10  and they saw the God of Israel. And there was under His feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone, and it was like the very heavens in its clarity.

Exo 24:11  But on the nobles of the children of Israel He did not lay His hand. So they saw God, and they ate and drank.

Exo 24:12  Then the LORD said to Moses, "Come up to Me on the mountain and be there; and I will give you tablets of stone, and the law and commandments which I have written, that you may teach them."

Here we see that the God that the elders saw in verse 10 is H430 {Elohiym} this  word can be used for Christ or the Father, but because they ate and drank and saw Him we know that it was Christ.

Now in Verse 12 we see the Lord {3068} God the Father, called Moses up to the mountain and there the Father gave Moses the Ten Commandments.  We know that you cannot see the Father, so we know that Moses spoke to Him in a cloud.

Exo 33:9  And it came to pass, when Moses entered the tabernacle, that the pillar of cloud descended and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the LORD talked with Moses.

1Ti 1:17  Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

This is fabulous new knowledge. We have never known that the Father was involved with His creation like this before.

Now there are many many more examples for us to learn about but I suggest that you go to your concordance and look up Hebrew 3068 and in your own time do a study and see just how involved God the Father is in our lives, this is astounding knowledge.

Now to answer the Question Is God the Father involved?:

THE ANSWER IS THAT HE IS 100% INVOLVED IN EVERYTHING AND ALWAYS WILL BE.  MOST OF THE OLD TESTAMENT SCRIPTURES ARE TALKING ABOUT THE FATHER.

WHICH GOD IS BEING SPOKEN OF IN THE OLD TESTAMENT?

This knowledge will lay a solid foundation of what we want to study. As we read the bible and we come to the word God or Lord, how do we know if these words are referring to God the Father or The Word? We don't know this absolutely vital knowledge unless we go to the Concordance, look up the meaning of the word, then look at the context and make a decision based on other scriptures on that subject. This is all part of the vital knowledge of God’s word. Everything must be in harmony and balance. Remember God is not the author of confusion. Here a little there a little. Now also keep in mind that who God the Father is has been lost till now.  Here are the names for God and Lord in the Old Testament, from the King James + translation of e-Sword.

GOD H430

Plural of H433; gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in the plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme God; occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates; and sometimes as a superlative: angels, X exceeding, God (gods) (-dess, -ly), X (very) great, judges, X mighty.

In the following verse we see that 430 is Elohiym, this word can be used for God the Father or The Word {Jesus Christ} or in some instances it can be used for both.

We will sight some scriptures to show some of the meanings. This will allow us to determine which God the scripture is referring to.

Gen 2:7  And the LORDH3068 GodH430 formedH3335 (H853) manH120 of the dustH6083 ofH4480 the ground,H127 and breathedH5301 into his nostrilsH639 the breathH5397 of life;H2416 and manH120 becameH1961 a livingH2416 soul.H5315

We have used here the Strong's concordance to show the numbers for the words God and Lord.  In the above verse, the word Lord is 3068 this can only be used for God the Father.

In the above verse, the word for God 430 is also used.  It can be either God the Father or Christ, but because we see the 3068 used we know that the 430 in this case is referring to God the Father.

Because of other bible knowledge {which we already know} God the Father created all things by Jesus Christ. We are confident and know assuredly that this verse is referring to God the Father, this is so plain and simple.

Gen 1:26 And GodH430 saidH559, Let us makeH6213 manH120 in our imageH6754, after our likenessH1823: and let them have dominionH7287 over the fishH1710 of the seaH3220, and over the fowlH5775 of the airH8064, and over the cattleH929, and over allH3605 the earthH776, and over everyH3605 creepingH7431 thing that creepethH7430 upon the earthH776.

In the above verse, we see this verse is referring to both God the Father and Jesus Christ, because it says let us and in our image and after our likeness.

The word God 430 is used but means both Gods.

Exo 24:10  And they sawH7200 (H853) the GodH430 of Israel:H3478 and there was underH8478 his feetH7272 as it were a pavedH3840 workH4639 of a sapphire stone,H5601 and as it were the bodyH6106 of heavenH8064 in his clearness.H2892

In the above scripture, we know that the 430 here spoken of is Christ only because they saw Him, later verses show they ate and drank with Him. But the Father called Moses up and gave him the Commandments. This is again a clear plain and easily understood scripture.

So we see three plain examples of how God 430 can be spoken of as:
1. the Father only.
2. both the Father and the Son.
3. and the Son only.

H3068

From H1961; (the) self Existent or eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God: Jehovah, the Lord. Compare H3050, H3069.

This is the number for God 3068 which can only be used for God the Father only.

Exo 20:1  And GodH430 spakeH1696 (H853) allH3605 theseH428 words,H1697 saying,H559
Exo 20:2  IH595 am the LORDH3068 thy God,H430 whichH834 have brought thee outH3318 of the landH4480 H776 of Egypt,H4714 out of the houseH4480 H1004 of bondage.H5650
Exo 20:3  Thou shalt haveH1961 noH3808 otherH312 godsH430 beforeH5921 H6440 me.

Now we see God {430} and Lord {3068} spoken of here in this verse. So we know that this is speaking of God the Father only, the 430 in the three instances mentioned above are referring here to God the Father.

We know that He brought the children out of Egypt and we know that He will have no other gods before Him.

Because the following numbers are used infrequently in the Old Testament we will not elaborate on their meaning.

H410

Shortened from H352; strength; as adjective mighty; especially the Almighty (but used also of any deity): God (god), X goodly, X great, idol, might (-y one), power, strong. Compare names in -el.

Gen 16:13  And she calledH7121 the nameH8034 of the LORDH3068 that spakeH1696 untoH413 her, ThouH859 GodH410 seestH7210 me: forH3588 she said,H559 Have I alsoH1571 hereH1988 lookedH7200 afterH310 him that seethH7200 me?

This is similar to 430 in that it can be used for the Father or Christ.

H3069

A variation of H3068 (used after H136, and pronounced by Jews as H430, in order to prevent the repetition of the same sound, since they elsewhere pronounce H3068 as H136): God.

This is self explanatory the 3069 is the same as 3068 and would therefore be used for only God the Father.

Jdg 6:22  And when GideonH1439 perceivedH7200 thatH3588 heH1931 was an angelH4397 of the LORD,H3068 GideonH1439 said,H559 Alas,H162 O LordH136 GOD!H3069 forH3588 becauseH5921 H3651 I have seenH7200 an angelH4397 of the LORDH3068 faceH6440 toH413 face.H6440

This has covered most of the words used for God in the Old Testament, there are a few others used in a few instances but for time and space, I would encourage the reader to search further into other Hebrew words themselves and gain that knowledge in their own private studies.

LORD H3068
The same as for God.

H136

An emphatic form of H113; the Lord (used as a proper name of God only): (my) Lord.

H113

From an unused root (meaning to rule); sovereign, that is, controller (human or divine):lord, master, owner. Compare also names beginning with Adoni.

This word may not necessarily be used in speaking about God the Father or the Son, as it could be used for master or a human.

H7706

Shadday......the almighty

This word is used over 40 times in the Old Testament.  Because it means the almighty it is referring only to the Father.

H433

Eloah......a deity......

This word is used over 50 times in the Old Testament and also has the meaning where it can be used for a false god.

This covers most of the words used for Lord. Once again, the reader is encouraged to do his own study into the other words used.  We suggest this for time and space allowed here.

The answer to the question, which God is being spoken of in the Old Testament?

THE READER WILL NEED TO DETERMINE WHICH HEBREW WORD IS BEING USED, BUT MOST ASTOUNDINGLY THE MAJORITY OF USES OF GOD AND LORD IN THE OLD TESTAMENT ARE REFERRING TO THE FATHER ONLY. THIS KNOWLEDGE HAS BEEN LOST SINCE THE DISCIPLES.

IS GOD THE FATHER ETERNAL?

Isa 57:15  For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Deu 33:27  The eternal God is your refuge, And underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you, And will say, 'Destroy!'

1Ti 1:17  Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

The answer to the Question Is God the Father Eternal?

GOD THE FATHER IS THE ONE ETERNAL GOD.

CAN GOD THE FATHER HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH SIN?

We have always believed that God the Father could not have anything to do with sin.

I have always believed that but never really understood why. The only scripture that I know of that is used to state this is the following:

Mat 27:46  And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?" that is, "MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?"

The reason Christ cried out these words is not because God the Father could not have anything to do with sin, but the following is the reason...

Christ came to earth to die for our sins.  He alone had to bear the sins of the whole earth. He and the Father were so very close the pain when God the Father could not be with Him for that short while, was immense. To bear these sins was a penalty that Christ had to bear alone, it was not the fact that God the Father could not have anything to do with sin, the fact was that Christ simply had to bear it alone. That was why He came to earth, to pay the penalty for our sins. God the Father did not have to do this.

Notice this astounding scripture.

Heb 1:3  who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

Did you notice what that scripture said?  BY HIMSELF PURGED OUR SINS.

Christ had to pay the penalty by Himself. This is why the Father could not be with Him.

1Pe 2:24  who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness by whose stripes you were healed.

Again we see: Who himself bare our sins.

The Father simply could not help Jesus at that crucial time.  To be with Christ at that time would have meant that His sacrifice would have been in vain. Christ had to do it alone.

The reason Christ had to bear this alone, has nothing to do with whether or not God the Father can have anything to do with sin, but because the Father had to forsake Christ for that small amount of time because the power of God the Father would have assisted Christ if He had not forsaken Him.

Now that we have cleared up the meaning of the two gospel accounts of that period of time before Christ’s death, let’s move on to the issue at hand, can God the Father have anything to do with sin?

Who is the father of lies, and the greatest sinner of all time?  None other than Satan himself. And yet we see these amazing scriptures which contain new knowledge and understanding on this subject for us.

Job 1:6  Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them.

Rev 12:9  So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Rev 12:10  Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.

If God the Father cannot have anything to do with sin, then how is it that the Father conducts an audience with the father of lies, the greatest sinner of all time, Satan the Devil at regular intervals?

We see quite plainly that one such occasion occurred concerning Job, and in the second scripture we see that Satan comes to God to accuse us on a DAILY basis.

This plainly states that God the Father talks to Satan regularly, so we see that He can have something to do with sin. However we know that He hates sin and that His very own son had to die because of sin. So we know for sure that He absolutely hates sin but the scriptures states that He does come face to face with it on a daily basis.

The answer to our question can God the Father have anything to do with sin?:

YES...HE HAS TO COME FACE TO FACE WITH IT ON A DAILY BASIS BUT HE HATES SIN.

CAN WE SEE AND HEAR GOD THE FATHER?

Exo 33:20  But He said, "You cannot see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live."

The scripture states plainly that no man can see God the Father and live. So how is it that we read in so many scriptures that God the Father appeared to Moses etc. and others throughout the bible?

The answer to this question is that God the Father appears to man in a number of different ways.

He appears in a cloud Ex 33 v 9.
He is an invisible God 1 Tim 1 v 17.

He appears in a vision Gen. 15 v 1.

He appears in a pillar of fire Ex 14 v 24.

He appears in a whirlwind Job 38 v 1.

He appears in a dream 1 Kings 3 v 5

He appears to people in these ways for to do otherwise would mean they would die.

As we have pointed out previously God the Father has a hands on approach towards His creation and He is involved with us, so we know He has appeared to people.  As we see in the above scriptures, He does it in different ways and He makes sure that those people won’t be harmed.

Joh 5:37  And the Father Himself, who sent Me, has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form.

The above scripture is interesting, but we must be careful what context this is spoken, you see this was the words of our Lord Jesus Christ and He was speaking to the Jews of His day and New Testament readers. He was speaking to them personally and saying that they themselves had not heard or seen the Father. This is not referring to Old Testament times.

Other scriptures state clearly that God the Father had indeed spoken to men throughout time, I will sight only two here for brevity, but the reader can in their own time look up many more such instances in their own bible study.

The following scripture shows clearly that when God the Father spoke to Moses, in a thick cloud, He said that the people MAY HEAR WHEN I SPEAK WITH YOU.

Exo 19:9  And the LORD said to Moses, "Behold, I come to you in the thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever." So Moses told the words of the people to the LORD.

Notice that God points out clearly that the people heard Him but did not see Him.

Deu 4:12  And the LORD spoke to you out of the midst of the fire. You heard the sound of the words, but saw no form; you only heard a voice.

Deu 4:15  "Take careful heed to yourselves, for you saw no form when the LORD spoke to you at Horeb out of the midst of the fire,

Gen 3:9  Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, "Where are you?"

Gen 3:10  So he said, "I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself."

Mat 17:5  While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!"

Notice again Christ spoke to the Father and the people heard the Father answer Christ.

Joh 12:27  "Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, save Me from this hour'? But for this purpose I came to this hour.

Joh 12:28  Father, glorify Your name." Then a voice came from heaven, saying, "I have both glorified it and will glorify it again."

Joh 12:29  Therefore the people who stood by and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said, "An angel has spoken to Him."

Joh 12:30  Jesus answered and said, "This voice did not come because of Me, but for your sake.

We see here quite plainly that when God the Father spoke people heard His voice.

The answer to the Question Can we see and hear the Father?

THE FATHER WAS HEARD BY MAN AND HE APPEARED IN A CLOUD OR IN A VISION OR HE WAS INVISIBLE, OR IN A PILLAR OF FIRE, OR A WHIRLWIND OR IN A DREAM.

I would like to relate to you an interesting occurrence in relation to this, and other articles.

Recently I was asked "Has anybody believed what you are saying in your articles?"

I would like to tell you the answer to this interesting question.

Many many years ago a man had truth to tell to the people, he told them what things would surely come to pass in their lifetime. The people laughed at him and thought it was a joke.  They did not believe him, but he kept on telling them for many many years. He continued, they laughed and derided him.  More than likely they hated him. But nonetheless the man continued, because he loved them and he had a job to do.

This preaching went on for many years and still the people did not believe. Then finally one day, one fine and sunny day, God decided there would be delay no more. The people had heard the warnings long enough to decide if what they had heard was truth or not.

And the man went to a place of safety and his family with him. Others could have come with him at that time, but they did not believe what he said, they were still laughing at him. The weather was fine and sunny and there was no threat of bad weather to come. So they chose to ignore his warning that he had told them for so many years.

But then God closed the door and after that time no one could go to the place of safety even if they wanted to. That place of safety was the Ark. Noah’s Ark.

But after Noah and his family were safe in the Ark, God waited a further 7 days before He sent a cloud in the sky. Then the rain came, the people were worried, they remembered the warnings that they had been given.  BUT IT WAS TOO LATE, they had made their choice, they chose not to believe the warning and to ignore the truth of what was going to happen.

THEY DID NOT BELIEVE...God won’t force us to believe Him...we have to make that choice.

THE PEOPLE DIED, THEY CHOSE DEATH, GOD SAYS CHOOSE LIFE.

It is the same today, God sends His warnings to His people, these articles are the truth, they are new knowledge, soon the end will come.  We are now at this very time in the LAODICEAN era of God’s church.  Mr. Armstrong was the physical leader of the Philadelphian era, but that has ended.  Mr. Armstrong has been dead a long time. This is now the last Era of God’s church, the era that will lead into the time of Jacob’s Trouble...this church is asleep look at the description of the church in Rev 3 v 14-22

Rev 3:14  "And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, 'These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:

Rev 3:15  "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.

Rev 3:16  So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.

Rev 3:17  Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing' and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked

Rev 3:18  I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.

Rev 3:19  As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

Rev 3:20  Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

Rev 3:21  To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

Rev 3:22  "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."

This church is fast asleep we are neither hot or cold, will we accept this knowledge or say we are rich and need nothing?  Can we see this new knowledge or do we need to anoint our eyes so that we may see?  Christ says He is at the door, He is showing us new knowledge. Will we open the door to Christ when He knocks?

When things are fine and sunny that is when God asks DO YOU BELIEVE ME? Jacob’s trouble may not start tomorrow. So will we laugh at the warning and disbelieve the new truths when they are given to us.

Will we be like the people in Noah’s day and ignore this end time message? Or will we believe and go into the protection which God provides? {Some will be spared the coming trouble, some saints will be martyred.}

Brethren Jacob’s Trouble is real, it is coming, it is going to happen. We know that God wants to know if we will believe Him in peace time. It will be too late once things start to happen. The church is being measured right now.  The plumb line has now been dropped. Where are you standing?

Are you for God or are you not?

This is the Laodicean church.

Mr. Armstrong was the physical leader of the Philadelphian era of the church. But Mr. Armstrong died in 1986.

This is the Laodicean church on whom the end of the ages have come.
It is only fitting to end this end time new knowledge with the words of our saviour and Lord Jesus Christ.

Let us give thanks to God that the time has now come for the Father to be revealed to us His servants.

Joh 16:25  "These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father.
