Isa
9:6For
unto us a Child is born, Unto us
a Son is given; And the government will be upon His
shoulder. And His name will
be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of
Peace.
The last part of
the above verse says The everlasting Father, the word everlasting
in Strong’s
Concordance is H 5703.
The first half of
this verse is talking about Jesus Christ. The second
part is not talking about
Jesus Christ. Jesus
Christ is not the
Mighty God and He is not the everlasting Father. God the
Father is the
everlasting Father. Notice in Isa. 57 v 15; the Hebrew
word H57O3 used in Isa.
9 v 6 is translated eternity.
Isa
57:15For
thus says the High and Lofty
One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is
Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place,
With him who
has a contrite and
humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And
to revive the heart of
the contrite ones.
Notice in the
above verse eternity in the Strong’s Concordance is H
5703.
The everlasting
Father is the God who has inhabited eternity. The proper
translation should
be.

church has been given the knowledge of who God the
Father is and who Jesus
Christ is.We
must study and pray and
ask God to reveal the truth to us, if we are genuine and
have the correct heart
and attitude He will show us.
