The bible is the inspired word of God, and in its pure form cannot be broken.

Joh 5:39  You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.

2Ti 3:16  All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

Joh 10:35  If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken),

Luk 18:31  Then He took the twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be accomplished.
