The church is the body of Christ. Christ will build the end time church on the knowledge that He is the born Son of God from the beginning [sometime prior to the original creation.] The church is for feeding the flock, perfecting the saints, work of the ministry, building the body. To prepare a people prepared for the Lord.

Mat 16:16  Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Mat 16:18  And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

Eph 4:12  for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,

God’s church will be a royal group of believers, once they are resurrected. Notice all the following scriptures.

1Pe 2:9  But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

2Ti 4:8  Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.

Rev 1:6  and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Rev 3:21  To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

Christ returns to the throne of David.

Luk 1:32  He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David.
