Grace is undeserved pardon by God. We must try to become perfect, be humble and try to please God. We should strive to have the right heart and mind, so that God desires to extend grace to us.

Gen 6:8  But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

We must grow in grace, this means that we must be the type of people that God wishes to extend His mercy to in the form of grace. We must be childlike in our attitude, have a pure heart and pure motives.

2Pe 3:18  but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
