ISAIAH 9 V 6
Isaiah 9 v 6
is quite obviously badly translated. Isa
9:6
ForH3588
unto us a childH3206
is born,H3205
unto us a sonH1121
is given:H5414
and the governmentH4951

Wonderful,H6382
Counsellor,H3289
The mightyH1368
God,H410
The everlastingH5703
Father,H1
The PrinceH8269
of Peace.H7965 The last
part of the above verse says The everlasting Father,
the word everlasting in Strong’s Concordance is H5703. The first
half of this verse is talking about Jesus Christ. The
second part is not talking about Jesus Christ. Jesus
Christ is not the Mighty God and He is not the
everlasting Father. God the Father is the everlasting
Father. Notice in Isa. 57 v 15; the Hebrew word H57O3
used in Isa. 9 v 6 is translated eternity. Isa
57:15

him also that is of a contriteH1793 and

the spiritH7307
of the humble,H8217
and to reviveH2421
the heartH3820
of the contrite ones.H1792 Notice in
the above verse eternity in the Strong’s Concordance
is H5703. The
everlasting Father is the God who has inhabited
eternity. The proper translation should be. For
unto
us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the
government shall be upon His shoulder: and the
One who proclaims this is
called Wonderful, Counsellor, The
mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of
Peace. The mighty
God is identified as the Lord of Hosts, God the
Father. Jer

is his name,H8034 God the
Father is the Prince of peace. ‘Prince’ means head
person, or captain, or chief. The
Laodicean church has been given the knowledge of who
God the Father is and who Jesus Christ is. We must
study and pray and ask God to reveal the truth to us,
if we are genuine and have the correct heart and
attitude He will show us. Pro 2:1 My son, if
you receive my words, And treasure my commands
within you, Pro 2:2 So that
you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart
to understanding; Pro 2:3 Yes, if
you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice
for understanding, Pro 2:4 If you
seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden
treasures; Pro 2:5 Then you
will understand the fear of the LORD, And find the
knowledge of God. |
