BELIEF AND MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB
BELIEF
AND MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB CONTAINS NEW
KNOWLEDGE FOR GOD’S PEOPLE. DO WE
BELIEVE GOD? WE THINK
WE DO. WHEN WE
READ SCRIPTURE WHICH SAYS THINGS WE
HAVE NOT BELIEVED, WHAT DO WE DO? DO WE
READ OVER IT AND PUT IT IN THE TOO HARD
BASKET? DO WE
IGNORE IT? DO WE
ARGUE THAT WHAT IS BEING STATED IN THE
BIBLE IS NOT REALLY WHAT IT SAYS? DO WE
REVERT TO LENGTHY THEOLOGICAL
EXPLANATIONS TO TWIST THE TRUE MEANING OF SCRIPTURE? DOES THE
TRUTH SCARE US AND MAKE US FEEL
UNCOMFORTABLE, BECAUSE IF WE CHANGE, PEOPLE WILL
THINK WE ARE STRANGE? DO WE
WORRY MORE ABOUT WHAT MAN THINKS THAN
WHAT GOD THINKS? WILL WE
GO TO ANY LENGTHS TO TWIST AND CHOP
AND CHANGE SCRIPTURE TO FIT IN WITH WHAT WE BELIEVE? The above questions are
hard hitting, direct, and need
addressing by anyone who professes to believe God and
His word, the Bible. When we state that what
we have believed may not now
necessarily be correct. Please understand that we in
no way are belittling Mr.
Armstrong and what he taught. I know that what he
taught us was correct, for
the Philadelphian era of the church, but he was not
given all knowledge. The
end time church is to receive new knowledge and
restore all things. This new
knowledge does differ to what Mr. Armstrong taught.
This is because we must
grow as a church, we cannot stand still. God will
reveal what He wants His
church to know and when. God is in charge not man. We
must be prepared to
believe Him, not what we teach or what anyone teaches.
We must believe our
Bibles and be led by God if we are to understand this
new end time knowledge
from the very creator Himself. We will show you an
example of growth, and how even though
God has done a great work through someone, they may
not have received all knowledge.
Remember the church will continue to grow in grace and
knowledge. Let us have a look at
the example of Abraham and Moses.
All readers would agree that both of these men were
used greatly by God, and
that they both have a great reward waiting for them. However Abraham did not
know that God was the one true
God. Moses was given this knowledge because he was to
tell the nation of Israel
about the one true God. Look at this amazing
new knowledge. Exo 6:3
I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to
Jacob, as God Almighty, but by
My name JEHOVAH I was not known to them. Here we see that Moses
received knowledge about the Father
that Abraham did not receive. This was not because
Moses was higher than
Abraham, or that he will be greater in the kingdom
than Abraham. The plain and
simple explanation is that we must grow in grace and
knowledge. At the time of Abraham
Isaac and Jacob, it was not
required that they knew that the Father was the one
true God. This knowledge
was not revealed until the time of Moses, then that
knowledge was required to
be known by him. The next verse shows
why God showed Moses that He was the
eternal, the only one true God. Exo 6:6
Therefore say to the children of Israel: ‘I
am the LORD; I will bring
you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, I
will rescue you from their
bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched
arm and with great
judgments. Exo 6:7
I will take you as My people, and I will be
your God. Then you shall
know that I am the LORD your God who brings you out
from under the burdens of
the Egyptians. Exo 6:8
And I will bring you into the land which I
swore to give to Abraham,
Isaac, and Jacob; and I will give it to you as a
heritage: I am the LORD.’ ” The reader should now
understand that just as Abraham did
not have all knowledge neither did God’s servant, Mr.
Armstrong. We must continue to
grow in grace and knowledge. Some people think that
if we love our neighbour and God,
that is all we have to do. Love is an extremely
important part of our calling
and we must have it but a very misunderstood and
unknown element which is of
vital importance to our calling and ultimate
reward……eternal life is …… belief. You would be amazed if
you looked in the concordance to
find just how many times to believe is mentioned and
how vitally important this
is to God and our ultimate salvation. Let’s look at the
attitude the Israelites had toward God
after He had brought them out of Egypt and performed
many miracles in their
sight……… Deu 1:28
Where can we go up? Our brethren have
discouraged our hearts, saying,
“The people are greater and taller than we; the
cities are great and fortified
up to heaven; moreover we have seen the sons of the
Anakim there.” ’ Deu 1:29
“Then I said to you, ‘Do not be terrified, or
afraid of them. Deu 1:30
The LORD your God, who goes before you, He
will fight for you, according
to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes, Deu 1:31
and in the wilderness where you saw how the
LORD your God carried you,
as a man carries his son, in all the way that you
went until you came to this
place.’ Deu 1:32
Yet, for all that, you did not believe the
LORD your God, Here we see an amazing
thing, even though God had brought
them through all dangers, fed them, and guided them,
they felt a few giants
would worry them and prevent them from entering the
Promised Land, they did not
believe God. Now let’s see what
eventually happened to the nation of
Israel. 2Ki 17:12
for they served idols, of which the LORD had
said to them, “You shall
not do this thing.” 2Ki 17:13
Yet the LORD testified against Israel and
against Judah, by all of His
prophets, every seer, saying, “Turn from your evil
ways, and keep My
commandments and My statutes, according to all the
law which I commanded your
fathers, and which I sent to you by My servants the
prophets.” 2Ki 17:14
Nevertheless they would not hear, but
stiffened their necks, like the
necks of their fathers, who did not believe in the
LORD their God. 2Ki 17:15
And they rejected His statutes and His
covenant that He had made with
their fathers, and His testimonies which He had
testified against them; they
followed idols, became idolaters, and went after the
nations who were all
around them, concerning whom the LORD had charged
them that they should not do
like them. 2Ki 17:16
So they left all the commandments of the LORD
their God, made for
themselves a molded image and two calves, made a
wooden image and worshiped all
the host of heaven, and served Baal. 2Ki 17:17
And they caused their sons and daughters to
pass through the fire,
practiced witchcraft and soothsaying, and sold
themselves to do evil in the
sight of the LORD, to provoke Him to anger. 2Ki 17:18
Therefore the LORD was very angry with
Israel, and removed them from His
sight; there was none left but the tribe of Judah
alone. What a tragic end for
these people, they turned their
backs on God completely. They went after false gods,
and this all started due
to their unbelief of God. Compare the different
attitude that God expects of His
people… Mar 1:15
and saying, “The
time is fulfilled, and the
kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in
the gospel.” Mar 5:36
As soon as Jesus heard the word that was
spoken, He said to the ruler of
the synagogue, “Do not be
afraid; only believe.” How plain and simple,
why won’t we obey these words of
God? This is what God expects of us, He wants us to
simply believe Him. Why do
we have unbelief? Why don’t we obey? If we truly love
God and obey Him we will
believe Him. Even if we don’t understand at the time,
all we need do is ask God
to help our unbelief. Mar 9:24
Immediately the father of the child cried out
and said with tears,
“Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” What a wonderful
attitude, even though this man did
believe God, there were probably things he was unsure
of, or perhaps he did not
understand. He asked God to help him, to help his
unbelief. God is only too
happy to help us. He is pleased for us to ask Him and
when we do, providing we
have the right attitude of humility, He will answer us
and help our unbelief. What a wonderful, all
knowing, loving God we have. Look at the attitude
that the Jews had towards Christ. Joh 5:37
And the Father
Himself, who sent Me, has
testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice
at any time, nor seen His
form. Joh 5:38
But you do not have
His word abiding in you,
because whom He sent, Him you do not believe. We see here quite
plainly that they do not believe God.
Now in verse 39 is a very interesting statement by
Christ. Joh 5:39
You search the
Scriptures, for in them you think
you have eternal life; and these are they which
testify of Me. Christ told them they
think they have eternal life, but
they will miss out due to the fact that they did not
believe God, Christ said
the scriptures testify of Him, and that they did not
believe Him. How vitally important
it is to believe God………eternal life
is at stake here. We must not be half hearted,
lukewarm or lazy, with our
spiritual calling either we believe God or we don’t.
There is no half way with
God. If we are having trouble believing some
points……ASK GOD TO HELP OUR
UNBELIEF……it is that simple, He will hear us and wants
to help us, if we truly
want to seek Him with our whole heart and search for
knowledge as for buried
treasure. This next verse shows
that Christ knows who are His, and
those who are His know Him. They believe Him. If we
are Christ’s we will
believe Him. Joh 10:26
But you do not
believe, because you are not of
My sheep, as I said to you. Joh 10:27
My sheep hear My
voice, and I know them, and
they follow Me. Joh 10:28
And I give them
eternal life, and they shall
never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out
of My hand. Joh 10:29
My Father, who has
given them to Me, is greater
than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of
My Father’s hand. Joh 10:30
I and My Father are
one.” We need to have faith
too. Heb 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please
Him, for he who comes to
God must believe that He is, and that He is a
rewarder of those who diligently
seek Him. We simply must believe
God. If we do not believe God, He
won’t be interested in us. We must be 100% sure in our
hearts and minds that we
believe, trust and have faith in God. Else He cannot
use us. Some just do not love
the truth, so God lets them believe
a lie, because they did not want to believe the truth.
What a shame, we must be
prepared to believe God at any cost. 2Th 2:10
and with all unrighteous deception among
those who perish, because they
did not receive the love of the truth, that they
might be saved. 2Th 2:11
And for this reason God will send them strong
delusion, that they should
believe the lie, 2Th 2:12
that they all may be condemned who did not
believe the truth but had
pleasure in unrighteousness. Jud 1:5
But I want to remind you, though you once
knew this, that the Lord,
having saved the people out of the land of Egypt,
afterward destroyed those who
did not believe. Do not be fooled,
unbelief is no little thing in God’s
eyes. He says it is a very important thing. It is not
just a minor point, it is
a major key in our spiritual character development, we
must have belief or we
have no foundation on which to build holy righteous
character. We simply have
no strength in any subject in our building of
character if there is no belief.
It is that simple. We must believe God or accept that
we won’t be in His
kingdom. God will not have an unbeliever in His
kingdom. Psa 78:21
Therefore the LORD heard this and was
furious; So a fire was kindled
against Jacob, And anger also came up against
Israel, Psa 78:22
Because they did not believe in God, And did
not trust in His salvation. The ancient Israelites
had many miracles performed in
their sight and yet they still did not believe God. Mat 10:14
And whoever will not
receive you nor hear your
words, when you depart from that house or city,
shake off the dust from your
feet. Mat 10:15
Assuredly, I say to
you, it will be more
tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in
the day of judgment than for
that city! This is another verse
which shows quite clearly that God
just simply will not tolerate this disbelief that
people have. All of the above verses
show how God looks upon those who
do not believe Him. Unfortunately in these last days
we have the same attitude
towards God, as people had back then. Many just simply
do not believe God. I am
not talking about people in the world, blindly going
about their lives and
leaving God out of their thinking and lives in
general. I am talking about the
people who openly profess to follow God and believe
the Bible. I am addressing
the people in God’s church today. We must look at
ourselves to see if we have
this unbelief also, it won’t be easy but you must
believe God no matter what it
takes. Now on a brighter note
let us look at those that do
believe God and how He feels about those faithful
servants…… Here Christ tells us
that the disciples believed Him and
as a result they belong to God the Father and Jesus
Christ, and Christ is
praying for them. It is the same for us today if we
are God’s people, Jesus
will intercede for us, and we belong to both the
Father and Christ. How
fantastic, but we must believe Him. Joh 17:8
For I have given to
them the words which You
have given Me; and they have received them, and
have known surely that I came
forth from You; and they have believed that You
sent Me. Joh 17:9
“I pray for them. I
do not pray for the world
but for those whom You have given Me, for they are
Yours. Joh 17:10
And all Mine are
Yours, and Yours are Mine, and
I am glorified in them. Abraham was the father
of the faithful, and he believed
God. God loves this in us. Rom 4:3
For what does the Scripture say? “ABRAHAM
BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS
ACCOUNTED TO HIM FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS.” Christ makes it very
plain, that if we believe Him, we
will believe the Father also. Joh 12:44
Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes
in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. Joh 12:45
And he who sees Me
sees Him who sent Me. Joh 12:46
I have come as a
light into the world, that
whoever believes in Me should not abide in
darkness. There is a lot of
misunderstanding about the Father, we
have an article at this site, entitled “God the Father
Revealed” which makes
plain the simple truth about God the Father, it is a
must read. Unknown to a lot of
people, once we believe what the Bible
says about Christ and other issues, and if we want to
know more truth about the
God family, God the Father will reveal knowledge to us
if we ask Him with the
right attitude and heart. If we truly know Christ
we will also know the Father. This
is scripture. Now that we see just how important it is
to God to believe Him
let’s apply this new knowledge to the following
parable about the Wedding
Feast. This parable is
pertaining to the end time, because it is
the Marriage of the Lamb. Let’s look at the two
accounts in both Matthew and Luke of
this fantastic new end time knowledge revealed by God,
for us, the end time
people of God. This end time knowledge is extremely
important for those who
live in the last days, it applies to us. Mat 22:2
“The kingdom of
heaven is like a certain king
who arranged a marriage for his son, Mat 22:3
and sent out his
servants to call those who were
invited to the wedding; and they were not willing
to come. Mat 22:4
Again, he sent out
other servants, saying, ‘Tell
those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my
dinner; my oxen and fatted
cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come
to the wedding.” ’ Mat 22:5
But they made light
of it and went their ways,
one to his own farm, another to his business. Mat 22:6
And the rest seized
his servants, treated them
spitefully, and killed them. Mat 22:7
But when the king
heard about it, he was
furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed
those murderers, and burned up
their city. Mat 22:8
Then he said to his
servants, ‘The wedding is
ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. Mat 22:9
Therefore go into the
highways, and as many as
you find, invite to the wedding.’ Mat 22:10
So those servants
went out into the highways and
gathered together all whom they found, both bad
and good. And the wedding hall
was filled with guests. Mat 22:11
“But when the king
came in to see the guests, he
saw a man there who did not have on a wedding
garment. Mat 22:12
So he said to him,
‘Friend, how did you come in
here without a wedding garment?’ And he was
speechless. Mat 22:13
Then the king said to
the servants, ‘Bind him
hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into
outer darkness; there will be
weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ Mat 22:14
“For many are called,
but few are chosen.” Luk 14:16
Then He said to him, “A
certain man gave a great
supper and invited many, Luk 14:17
and sent his servant
at supper time to say to
those who were invited, ‘Come, for all things are
now ready.’ Luk 14:18
But they all with one
accord began to make
excuses. The first said to him, ‘I have bought a
piece of ground, and I must go
and see it. I ask you to have me excused.’ Luk 14:19
And another said, ‘I
have bought five yoke of
oxen, and I am going to test them. I ask you to
have me excused.’ Luk 14:20
Still another said,
‘I have married a wife, and
therefore I cannot come.’ Luk 14:21
So that servant came
and reported these things
to his master. Then the master of the house, being
angry, said to his servant,
‘Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the
city, and bring in here the
poor and the maimed and the lame and the blind.’ Luk 14:22
And the servant said,
‘Master, it is done as you
commanded, and still there is room.’ Luk 14:23
Then the master said
to the servant, ‘Go out
into the highways and hedges, and compel them to
come in, that my house may be
filled. Luk 14:24
For I say to you that
none of those men who were
invited shall taste my supper.’ ” Mat 22:1
And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by
parables and said: Mat 22:2
“The kingdom of
heaven is like a certain king
who arranged a marriage for his son, Mat 22:3
and sent out his
servants to call those who were
invited to the wedding; and they were not willing
to come. The marriage of the
lamb is a wonderful event to look
forward to. Rev 19:7
Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him
glory, for the marriage of the
Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” When everything was
ready the servants went out to ask the
many invited guests to come to the wedding. This is in the last
days, it cannot be earlier because the
dinner is ready. It applies to the church which is
alive at the end time. God
has invited many to the wedding. Rev 19:19
And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth,
and their armies, gathered
together to make war against Him who sat on the
horse and against His army. Mat 25:10
And while they went
to buy, the bridegroom came,
and those who were ready went in with him to the
wedding; and the door was
shut. These verses show
plainly that the guests who are worthy,
go into the wedding feast, but who are those that are
invited? Who are the ones
mentioned in Luke 14 v 17 and Matthew 22 v 3? Who are
the ones invited to the
wedding feast? For a detailed article
on this information see “Called and
Chosen and Faithful” at this site. But for space, I
will explain that the
called are those who can suddenly understand the
Bible, they keep the Ten
Commandments and the Holy Days, they keep the Sabbath,
and they have a desire
to learn more about God and to obey Him. They are
baptised by God’s ministers
and have received a down payment of God’s Spirit,
called the Spirit of promise,
or the earnest of the Spirit. But despite all of the
above, some of those invited to the
wedding did not want to come. Many other parables
testify to this attitude, the
parable of the sower, and the workers in the field,
are two examples. To continue on our
spiritual path requires much time,
dedication, effort, courage and conviction. Most
people just simply lack all of
these. Most are too busy with work, T.V., sports
activities and good times,
rather than being profitable with the time. They don’t
want to put in the time
towards Bible study, prayer, fasting and meditation.
It is all just too hard
for them. That is why when they are called to the
wedding they just don’t
respond. They don’t believe God and this unbelief has
taken them away from God,
true study and the pursuit of the truth. They have
been called, they are
invited to the Wedding of the Lamb, but they did not
spend enough time getting
to know the bridegroom, they just couldn’t find the
time to learn about Him to
believe Him. So when asked to come to the wedding,
they preferred to do
something else. Some of these people are the ones who
responded to the
teachings of Mr. Armstrong and belonged to God’s
Church. There were many
members, and many were called but unfortunately many
did not believe God and
they simply were not interested in the Wedding
invitation. These people were
deceived into believing a lie, God tests people He
wants to see what is in our
hearts, if we will believe Him or not. Unfortunately
only a few have their hearts
right towards the Great Creator God. Notice the following
verses. This is the second time the
guests are invited now, from God’s servants. We know
that this is a separate
invitation from the first because Matt 22 v 4 states,
again He sent forth other
servants. So these are different servants being used
for this 2nd invitation
to the guests. Now it is getting perilously close to
the wedding ceremony, and
still they are just too busy. Mat 22:4
Again, he sent out
other servants, saying, ‘Tell
those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my
dinner; my oxen and fatted
cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come
to the wedding.” ’ Mat 22:5
But they made light
of it and went their ways,
one to his own farm, another to his business. Luke’s account of the
same event gives a little more
information, so that we can glean more insight into
who these people are that
receive the 2nd invitation. And the
following is new knowledge from
God about who these people are………… We already know that
they are God’s people, just as God’s
church was given the 1st invitation so
God’s people are given the 2nd
invitation. It is now later than the initial call,
because we see that the ox
etc. has been killed and the food is ready, come all
is ready. Who are the ones
to whom the 2nd invitation is given? They
are God’s church now in
the Laodicean Era of the Church. Luk 14:21
So that servant came
and reported these things
to his master. Then the master of the house, being
angry, said to his servant,
‘Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the
city, and bring in here the
poor and the maimed and the lame and the blind.’ Luk 14:22
And the servant said,
‘Master, it is done as you
commanded, and still there is room.’ How do we know this
astounding truth………look at the
description in Luke 14 v 21 of who are invited to the
wedding…… Luk 14:21
So that servant came
and reported these things
to his master. Then the master of the house, being
angry, said to his servant,
‘Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the
city, and bring in here the
poor and the maimed and the lame and the blind.’ Now let’s compare the
description of the last era of God’s
church, the Laodicean Church. Rev 3:17
Because you say, ‘I
am rich, have become
wealthy, and have need of nothing’ and do not know
that you are wretched,
miserable, poor, blind, and naked These Laodiceans are
the ones described in Luke 14 so we
see quite plainly that the 2nd time the
servants were sent out to
God’s people, the second invitation went out to the
Laodicean Church. That is
the era we are in today. Remember that Mr. Armstrong
told us we were the
Philadelphian Era of the Church. Sadly Mr. Armstrong,
the faithful and loyal
servant of God, has been dead now since 1986. God’s
church has now become the
Laodicean Era. So this 2nd invitation is to
this era of God’s
church. Now back to the two
accounts as above……we see that even
though the invitations went out, there was still room
at the Wedding Feast for
more people. The account in Matthew confirms this lack
of interest by the
invited ones. What a tragic situation this must be for
God, how must He feel
about the people He has called who simply are not
interested in the greatest
invitation of all time? Take this truth and
knowledge very seriously, this is
talking about us right now. Are we interested? Do we believe God? Do we want to be at the
Wedding Feast of the Lamb? If we
do, we must wake up and do something about it. Get
close to God and get to know
the bridegroom. If you do not know how to do this……
pray, fast, study, meditate
and ask God to help you learn more about Him and He
will be glad to show you. Matt 22 v 5 is very
interesting, here we see how God’s
people went in separate directions. Mat 22:5
But they made light
of it and went their ways,
one to his own farm, another to his business. They went their ways,
all with various interest and other
things to do. What a shame, I am not saying they all
have lost interest in God,
I am simply stating the scripture on this subject and
it is a hard saying but
if you can’t handle the truth of God and you don’t
want to believe Him…click
off this site and go to someone who likes to say
smooth things…… …………you won’t
hear that here…………we tell the truth the way God wants
it stated we are not here
to please men, but to obey God… we talk to those who
have an ear to hear. We
understand by scripture that there appears to be not
many who have the courage
and strength and love to believe God. Back to the above
accounts……we know that in Luke 14 v 21
that the servants who go to the Laodiceans have to do
so quickly, time is
running out now, the meal is ready, they have to do
this with a great deal of
urgency. What a sad situation for these servants, they
know time is running
out, they know there is only a few who believe God.
How sad they must feel,
God’s people just don’t believe them and turn their
backs on the greatest being
in the universe who is offering them a fabulous
position in His kingdom. And
they are just too busy watching T.V. or something
else. As we know by scripture
which is stated below, the true
servants of God will be thrown out of Churches,
persecuted and in fact killed
by fellow brethren, they will be taken before Courts
and Judges, put in prison
their own families will give them up to the
authorities. Here we see the
remnant took the servants ……now who are the remnant?
The ones who are in the
churches, because the true servants have been cast out
of the churches. So the
remnant, the ones who do these dreadful deeds, are
some of the people who
belong to the church in the end time, the Laodicean
Era of the church. Mat 22:6
And the remnant
seized his servants, treated
them spitefully, and killed them. Mat 24:9
“Then they will
deliver you up to tribulation
and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations
for My name’s sake. Mat 24:10
And then many will be
offended, will betray one
another, and will hate one another. Mar 13:9
“But watch out for
yourselves, for they will
deliver you up to councils, and you will be beaten
in the synagogues. You will
be brought before rulers and kings for My sake,
for a testimony to them. Mar 13:10
And the gospel must
first be preached to all the
nations. Mar 13:11
But when they arrest
you and deliver you up, do
not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will
speak. But whatever is given
you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you
who speak, but the Holy Spirit. Mar 13:12
Now brother will
betray brother to death, and a
father his child; and children will rise up
against parents and cause them to
be put to death. Mar 13:13
And you will be hated
by all for My name’s sake.
But he who endures to the end shall be saved. Let’s see what amazing
events occur next…… The time setting for
this next account is after the temple
has been built and some of the church members are
deceived by the little horn. The Father is furious
with them and sends the man with the
ink horn amongst them. Mat 22:7
But when the king
heard about it, he was
furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed
those murderers, and burned up
their city. Eze 9:1
Then He called out in my hearing with a loud
voice, saying, “Let those
who have charge over the city draw near, each with a
deadly weapon in his
hand.” Eze 9:2
And suddenly six men came from the direction
of the upper gate, which
faces north, each with his battle-ax in his hand.
One man among them was
clothed with linen and had a writer’s inkhorn at his
side. They went in and
stood beside the bronze altar. Eze 9:3
Now the glory of the God of Israel had gone
up from the cherub, where it
had been, to the threshold of the temple. And He
called to the man clothed with
linen, who had the writer’s inkhorn at his side; Eze 9:4
and the LORD said to him, “Go through the
midst of the city, through the
midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads
of the men who sigh and cry
over all the abominations that are done within it.” Eze 9:5
To the others He said in my hearing, “Go
after him through the city and
kill; do not let your eye spare, nor have any pity. Eze 9:6
Utterly slay old and young men, maidens and
little children and women;
but do not come near anyone on whom is the mark; and
begin at My sanctuary.” So
they began with the elders who were before the
temple. Mat 22:8
Then he said to his
servants, ‘The wedding is
ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. The majority of the
people called by God, did not want to
come to the Wedding Feast, they were not worthy, so
how does God fill the
Wedding Hall…… Luk 14:23
Then the master said
to the servant, ‘Go out
into the highways and hedges, and compel them to
come in, that my house may be
filled. Luk 14:24
For I say to you that
none of those men who were
invited shall taste my supper.’ ” This is the 3rd
invitation, this interesting
verse shows that God sent His servants out to the
Israelites, and anyone who
repented during the time of Jacob’s Trouble, was
allowed to come to the Wedding
Feast. That is because they had the attitude that God
was looking for, even
though they were not members of God’s church, they
repented and believed God.
This is astounding fact. Some of the articles at this
site explain that the
nation of Israel repent during the captivity. But mark well the fact
that the ones who were invited to
the Wedding and did not want to come, were not allowed
to taste of God’s
supper. They will be locked out when the door is
closed, as other parables
state. What a sad ending for some in God’s church.
Another interesting thought
is that those who were brought in at the last may well
be the children of
members, these may not have been called but are open
to God’s word of truth
when they hear it, so it may well include some of
these children, who up until
this time have not responded to the teachings of the
church, but being brought
up in the church should have a knowledge of some
things. Mat 22:9
Therefore go into the
highways, and as many as
you find, invite to the wedding.’ Mat 22:10
So those servants
went out into the highways and
gathered together all whom they found, both bad
and good. And the wedding hall
was filled with guests. In this 3rd
invitation to the Wedding Feast, we
see that the people that were compelled to come to the
Wedding were both bad
and good, so even though they were not called, they
ultimately, after the time
of Jacob’s Trouble {or during it} had the attitude of
repentance and God could
use them. Mat 22:11
“But when the king
came in to see the guests, he
saw a man there who did not have on a wedding
garment. The following scripture
shows that the man without the
wedding garment is in fact an evil son of God. He is a
devil, {see our article
the Sons of God at this site.} Notice Christ calls him
friend {this means
clansman, he is related to Christ}. Mat 22:12
So he said to him,
'Friend, how did you come in
here without a wedding garment?' And he was
speechless. This evil son of God is
confronted by God and just had no
answer, he knew his own attitude and his own inner
feelings and that they were
not in line with what God expects from the wedding
guests. He was obviously a
church member because he was invited to the wedding.
These evil sons of God
will infiltrate not only the world but the church. Because he is a devil
he is thrown into outer darkness. The devil is confronted
by God and just had no answer, he
knew his own attitude and his own inner feelings and
that they were not in line
with what God expects from the wedding guests. Because he is a devil
he is thrown into outer darkness. Mat 22:13
Then the king said to
the servants, ‘Bind him
hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into
outer darkness; there will be
weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ It will be awful
outside of where God is, people will hate
to be excluded, and especially when others realise
what they have done to the
true servants of God. That will make them very upset
indeed. They will have
gone to church for many years, {some of them} and yet
still not make it into
God’s Kingdom. This is not my idea, this is what God
tells us in the scripture.
These are not pleasant words, but that is not why we
are writing these
articles. I am not writing some story tale for people
to go to sleep listening
to it. This is the dynamic new knowledge and truth
from God for His end time
people. These messages must be heeded. There are not
going to be many people
who qualify for God’s kingdom at this time, this is
not because the numbers
have not been called. It is because the greater
majority of called people are
just not interested in putting in genuine effort,
spending valuable time in
prayer and Bible study, spending time looking at
themselves so they can
overcome faults, etc. There are just too many things
to do, places to see,
people to talk to. T.V. to watch. Etc. etc. God is
just not important enough to
most of them. He is pushed to the back and forgotten
from Sabbath to Sabbath. THIS IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH
AND IS NOT ACCEPTABLE TO GOD. Let the closing
scripture be a warning to us to wake up
and do something about this precious calling. Mat 22:14
“For many are called,
but few are chosen.” |
